Additional Health Benefits...

The best ingredient ever, for your health!

Doctors are discovering two servings a day (2 scoops) can actually reverse unhealthy conditions. And most people are able to greatly reduce their monthly supplement and prescription cost with Mila™. Mila’s exclusive processing offers the consumer the most bioavailable and efficacious form of the Salvia Hispanica L grain.

The super grain is easily added to the daily diet either by eating Mila™ by itself or by using it as a vital ingredient in many traditional and specialty foods. Consider the following nutritional benefits of Mila™ based on clinical studies.

No Cyanogens
Flax contains a substance called cyanogens, which is converted in the body into another chemical called Thiocyanate (SCN). High blood concentrations of SCN for prolonged periods of time, may have adverse affects on the thyroid gland reducing its iodine intake. Mila™ contains no cyanogens.

Protection Against High Blood Pressure & Heart Disease
In an acute study, after-meal blood glucose and plasma insulin levels were reduced, thereby improving insulin sensitivity. In a long-term trial, blood pressure was reduced. High blood pressure is the major cardiovascular risk factor in those with Type 2 Diabetes.

Mila's nutrient-dense properties, proved effective in reducing risk factors of heart disease such as body inflammation and coagulation factors ("aspirin-like" effects). These clinical results indicate the great potential of Mila™ as a functional food, useful in the prevention and treatment of heart disease.

Wellness

Mila's power for improving health
As a super grain, loaded with Omega-3's and many other vital nutrients, Mila™ offers a variety of opportunities to improve overall health and well being.

Type 2 Diabetes
Mila's nutrient-dense qualities, have been clinically proven to significantly improve metabolic control of diabetes. In an acute study, after-meal blood glucose and plasma insulin levels were reduced thereby improving insulin sensitivity. In a long-term trial, blood pressure was reduced. High blood pressure is the major cardiovascular risk factor in those with Type 2 diabetes.

Colorectal Cancer
Studies conducted at John Hopkins show those with high levels of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) are 2.5 times more likely to develop colon cancer. Clinical studies also prove Mila's extraordinary profile reduces C-Reactive Protein levels that in turn may help reduce the risk of colorectal cancer.

Breast Cancer
Preliminary research at the University of California, Los Angeles suggests that Omega-3's may help maintain healthy breast tissue and deter breast cancer.

Prostate Cancer
Numerous studies show that diets high in Omega-3's and fiber may help reduce the risk of prostate cancer. A Duke University Medical Center pilot study concluded that even short-term changes to a high-fiber/Omega-3 supplemented diet resulted in prostate cancer cells that did not divide as quickly as those in men not on the diet. Mila™, with its high Omega-3 and fiber content, is an easy and simple way to include these necessary nutritional benefits into your daily diet.

Osteoporosis
Per serving, Mila™ contains six times more calcium than milk. The body needs calcium to prevent bone loss. Mila™ is a rich source of other essential minerals like phosphorous, magnesium and iron, all of which aid in the absorption and utilization of calcium by the body. The concentration of protein in milk and dairy products, in general, decreases calcium absorption.

Depression And Mental Health
The International Journal of Clinical Practice tells us that much research (including research from Harvard) has linked low levels of Omega-3's in the body with mood disorders. Omega-3's are believed to keep the brain's pattern of thoughts, reactions, and reflexes running cohesively and efficiently. Clinical trials have concluded that Omega-3's may reduce the risk of various psychiatric disorders and Alzheimer's disease.

Menopause
Mila™, with its high Omega-3 and Lignan content, may enhance and balance hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Mila™ may help reduce hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause and help maintain a positive mental outlook.

Rheumatoid Arthritis And Other Auto-Immune Disease
Since studies prove that Omega-3's help the arteries and other parts of the body stay inflammation free, it is believed that diets high in Omega-3's increase survival for those with auto-immune diseases. Increasing your intake of Omega-3's may reduce the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Vasodilator
Vasodilatation occurs when the arteries are enlarged. Mila™ has a vasodilatory effect by increasing the size of the arteries and thereby lowering blood pressure. This is the same effect achieved by "Viagra™" type medications and should work just as well for women as it does for men.

Amino Acids, Vitamins And Minerals

Mila™ is a rich source of all essential amino acids and of antioxidant vitamins and minerals. It is very rich in calcium and iron; contains Vitamins A and C, potassium, phosphorous and magnesium, and is a great source of B vitamins including folic acid (60 mcg per 3½ oz.), an important B-vitamin especially needed for pre-natal health. Mila™ has 3 to 10 times the oil concentration of most grains and 1½ to 2 times the protein concentration of other grains. These oils are the essential oils the body needs to help absorb the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, & K.

YOU Can Be In Control

We all want to live a healthy, long, and vibrant life! Unfortunately, for many countries around the world, life spans are decreasing rather than increasing. Even in the United States, one of the wealthiest countries in the world, life expectancy is decreasing and overall quality of life has been greatly diminished due to poor health. This has been a relatively quick change - after WWII the U.S.A. ranked at the top among civilized nations in life expectancy, yet sadly today, ranks forty-fourth!

The experts agree that the changes to the traditional western diet are largely to blame! The negative effects of high fructose corn syrup, sugar, salt, fast food, saturated fats and lack of exercise have brought society to its knees.

More and more drugs will not cure this decline! We need to provide the body with the nutrition that it has lost! With the introduction of Mila™, we are making a bold step forward in helping the body to heal itself by providing the essential nutrition that it needs to be healthy!

NOTES:

Dashes shown where data is unavailable or analyses has not been done.
Per USDA Nutrient Database, up to 12 percent flax seed can safely be used as an ingredient in food.

The Difference Between Mila™ Micro Slice Processing and Conventional Grinding:
Conventional grinding heats the seed, which in turn leads to oxidation and decreased oil quality. Grinding also reduces the shelf life of the product.
Micro-slicing increases the surface area, which assures the highest bio-availability of any other form of Salvia hispanica

WARNING:
If Flax Seed has a USDA limit and some countries ban it because it can turn poisonous, why would you use Flax Seed?
